INSPIRATION
Unashamed and uninhibited display of serenity bathing in her own rippled waters of sin under the setting sun. Nowhere to be other than to soak up the experience.
METHOD
Serenity's naked figure symbolizing the uncovered rough texture of her existence. Scars and scratches of blues and bruises unapologetically relaxing under a scarred and scraped blood red sunset.

INSPIRATION
All big life events paint colours and a textures on the soul. Some events leave holes in our creation. An incomplete being. Naked to its truth. Looking to the heavens for resolution and bolcked by self.
METHOD
Spray paint, acrylic and gold leaf accents adorn a vibrant puzzle of texture, splatter and line to enable each life event to tell its own story.

HEALING MY BROKEN CHI

INSPIRATION
A discovery of healing past trauma and battle scars of the soul, by healing the leaking and broken chi flow, my rainbow aura. What the mind and body have long forgotten, the soul still bleeds. I wanted to depict the power we all have to heal our scars.
METHOD
Textured broken layers of paint overlapping smokey blends of auric colours in turmoil, leaking through the flow of the broken spirit. Purest of rainbow colours flaming through the chaos.
ELATION DEFLATION

INSPIRATION
Depicting the ecstatic high feeling of being engulfed in a bubbling mix of excitement and elation in anticipation for a pinnacle event, shortly followed by the melting disappointment of being let down.
METHOD
Yellows, flamenco pinks and turquoise moulded into the purity of the white brewing multiple emotions into a climax only to amalgamate into an abyss of muddy emotions off the canvas.
THAT SCRATCHY FEELING

INSPIRATION
Irritation, exasperation in continuation. The feeling of repeated abuse hacking away at my soul. Experiencing the unkindness of humans over time and how that scarred and scraped at my being, contributing to that lifelong scratchy feeling.
METHOD
Repeated layers of paint and emotions were hacked away onto the canvas as it was at was soul.
PHOENIX

INSPIRATION
A rise from the destruction mustering every bit of magic from the furthest reaches and bounds of existence to not only recover but to rise from the ashes in a vibrant explosive display of triumphant intricate boldness.
METHOD
Multiple layers of overlapping vibrant flaming colours and magical textures create a labyrinth of intricate mazes. Smouldering smokey opaque colours and jagged lines contributing to the upward motion of the rebirth.

INSPIRATION
I was diagnosed with EDD (Emotional Dysfunction Disorder) in 2019. This was therapy to deeper explorer my extreme emotions as opposed to fighting them. Each time I would experience a deep-seated emotional experience I would embrace it, convert it to a moving living entity with colour, textures and unending layers within itself.
METHOD
Layers and sections of emotion in variants of degrees of domination in my life have been proportioned, anger, depression, fear and anxiety being the largest proportion of the canvas. Layers or resin and ink techniques were applied to make each extreme emotion come to life blending into or forming out its counterpart.
TANGLED THOUGHTS

INSPIRATION
When my emotions are all fired up, my mind feels like all the thoughts connected to it, just endlessly churn and tangle into a frenzied mess. Thoughts winding, turning and grazing to a sudden stop while maintaining multitudes of other thoughts creating extreme emotions. When I try to speak it feels like my mind is dancing to a tune my voice could not articulate.
METHOD
As each thought creates its own emotion in variants of its own intensity, each stroke was made a thought process. The brush was loaded with the colour combinations needed to depict the emotions forming winding and twisting, layer over layer as they tangle together.
MIND THE MESS

INSPIRATION
Mixed emotions entwined in deep analytical thoughts and emotions from far, but contradicts with detailed chaos upon closer view, small thoughts can be seen traveling on a complex highway of emotions. The hub of creation, the mind.
METHOD
Acrylic, spray paint and resin create a wonderful textured trail of intricate thought patterns of colour and depth sparking a mesmerizing hidden coves of emotion.
QUIET CONTEMPLATION

Sitting quietly in a serene environment, I contemplate how each seemingly individual event forms part of a greater structure in all its interconnectedness.
METHOD
Colour combinations related to events paired to emotions each brush stroke either connecting, crossing or fading into the next part of the structure.
